Sensational wet or dry. Since 1942.
The Diva legacy began in a small workshop by the sandy beaches of Tel-Aviv in 1942. Today, Diva is a global swimwear company that sells in over 40 countries around the world. And still, over 70 years later, Diva deliver on the promises on which they were established:
Our unique designs and materials shape and sculpt the body, providing excellent support and comfort. Each and every style is tended to separately and tailored to a perfect flattering fit.
Inspired by the cat walks of Paris , Milano and New York, Diva's collections are made up of a variety of classic styles as well as pieces at the forefront of fashion.
With fabric being a central element of the design, Diva's prints are designed and engineered by top Italian fabric masters including Paolo Farkas and Beppe Spadicini, and manufactured in the world's most exclusive textile houses.
It all began with Tova and Moshe Hirschathal. She was a talented young seamstress with an eye for fashion, and he had a head for business. After several years sowing brassieres and undergarments and inspired by the sandy beaches and Mediterranean sun, Tova began sowing swimwear.
Rachel Pappo, Tova and Moshe's daughter and a talented designer in her own right, grew up fascinated by the colors and fabrics, and loved the ocean - it was therefore natural that when the time came she would take her mother's place as head designer in the family business.
Neta Pappo, Rachel's daughter, and Tova's granddaughter was determined to move in a different direction. Yet, as she grew up spending her summers on the factory floor, so did her love for the colors, the fabrics and the business.
Diva is still very much a family business, Netta is Head Designer and her brother Ran Pappo, serves as CEO, and is responsible for growing the business globally.
Today, Diva is a global brand holds fast onto its boutique values; primarily, to make women feel great while wearing very little.
* Diva by Rachel Pappo is also sold under the brand names in France and in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium ,Switzerland and Russia.
